UM and McCain team up to launch the “Happy Frydays Café” in downtown Toronto, a vibrant month-long pop-up celebrating the brand’s new platform, “Together is Golden.” Located on Strachan Avenue, the playful café invites visitors to enjoy McCain’s signature fries in an immersive environment designed for social sharing. The menu reimagines classic fries with shareable, social-media-ready items like “Unicorn Fries,” topped with a rainbow of sauces and cotton candy, and a salted caramel milkshake with fries for dipping. All proceeds from the pop-up will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.
The activation is supported by paid social, and OOH, including wild postings, streetcar murals, and a TSA takeover in the Toronto’s downtown core.
