UM and BMO have unveiled the fourth installment of the brand’s annual “Wrap the Good” campaign, “Unwrap the Good.” The campaign invites holiday shoppers to explore an engaging augmented reality (AR) experience that highlights products from underrepresented businesses. Using the AR filter, shoppers can virtually “unwrap” gifts they encounter anywhere –at home or in offices, malls, movies, or commercials. Each unwrapped gift reveals thoughtful gift ideas and a promotional code, courtesy of BMO, to purchase the item online. 

The campaign is integrated across social and OOH, with a notable partnership with CityTV, where viewers are encouraged to unwrap gifts spotted in holiday movies to unlock promotional codes. The mobile AR filter can be activated via smartphones and downloaded via a dedicated online hub, BMOWrapTheGood.com.
