Levi’s Double Portal A/R Experience: Cure for Joyless Shopping

Disrupting the retail status quo, Levi’s Canada partnered with media agency UM to create a global-first, immersive brand and ecommerce experience. We collaborated with Snapchat to build an AI-powered, Double-Portal camera lens activation that allowed Gen Z to explore, try on and purchase Levi’s clothing. Using the rear camera, consumers were transported onto a sustainability-themed, virtual boardwalk by a Canadian mountain lake, and then directed to a second portal: a 360° virtual showroom that provided a personalized, immersive shopping experience and in-app buying option. The groundbreaking campaign reached 2.8 million unique Snapchat users in the first month, far exceeding benchmarks, generated millions of earned impressions, and drove sales.
